Here at We Care Pet Care LLC we recognize the importance of giving back to our community, so we make it a top priority to help those in need as we support local fundrasers.
MCDANCE-A-THON
McLean High School Fundraiser for Chidrens National Hospital
McLean High School holds a yearly fundraiser known as McDance-A-Thon, a dance marathon that works with the Miracle Network Hospitals in our community. Each student that joins McDance at Mclean works hard to raise funds in order to meet the schools yearly fundraising goal. Near the end of March a 12 hour dance marathon takes place at the school gym and children from Miracle Network Hospitals come and dance and share their stories with the students at McLean High.
Since Spring of 2019 We Care Pet Care LLC has raised $2,350 thanks to generous donations from clients and a percentage of our sales going to the cause. This has become a yearly event for us and we are exited to parter with McDance-A-Thon and McLean High for many years to come.
McDance-A-Thon 2020
During the fall of 2019 the students of McLean High held bake sales, car washed and several other fundraising events to get a head start for this years fundraising. Several months later the dance marathon was canceled and so was the rest of the academic year due to Covid-19. However the students and teachers that take part in McDance continued fundraising and held a virtual dance marathon for the kids. This year we raised $500 for McDance-A-Thon contributing to the grand total of $61,986.99 for the kids!
McDance-A-Thon 2019
This was our first year fundraising for McDance-A-Thon and it was an experience we will never forget! Over the course of 5 months we received and matched several donations from clients as well as 30% of our founders salary was donateddurnig that time. In the end we raised $1,850 for the kids at Children's National Hospital and McLean High School as a whole raised over fifty five thousand  dollars.
